Iteration log

See the system become physical.

Each entry records one concrete engineering step: what changed, why it changed and what still has to be validated.

01

First iteration

Establish the core geometry.

The first full-scale build created a physical reference for proportion, access and the rotating cultivation chamber.

Build. Observe. Correct.

Third iteration

Bring the system together.

The third iteration brings structure, lighting and the cultivation chamber into a more complete working assembly.

Integrate. Test. Refine.

Engineering update

Resolve interfaces before another physical build.

This design pass checks component placement, service access, drive alignment and the central module before the next parts are fabricated.

04

Subsystem update

Design the nutrient dosing module.

Four independently driven channelsMeter through replaceable tubing.

Each peristaltic channel moves water or nutrient concentrate through its own tube, keeping the fluid path in the tubing and fittings rather than in the gear transmission.

Flow rate and dose accuracy are not published as assumptions. They will be established by channel-specific gravimetric calibration on the final hardware.

Context
Presented at Innovation Labs.

The programme offered a stage and exhibition setting for an existing prototype. Product development happened independently before, during and after the event.

01

Present

Explain the product clearly.

The final pitch introduced the working system, hospitality use case and business model to a live audience.

02

Demonstrate

Let people inspect it.

At the exhibition, visitors could see the scale, light, structure and operation of the physical prototypes.

03

Team

Mark a public milestone.

The photographs record the people behind the presentation and the close of the public showcase.

Take part in the next stage.

We are speaking with future customers, pilot venues and research collaborators.
